A fantastic opportunity has just come live for a Sales Manager to join a hugely successful European Manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven and career hungry candidate who has export sales experience in Europe and must have OEM and Distribution experience in a B2B environment ? this is a must. You will be based and living in Ireland ? the company is starting up here, however there will be European travel.

This is a great opportunity for a junior sales manager / Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and take the next step into management, so if you have minimum 5 years? experience in European sales this is the perfect role for you! You must be willing to travel within this role and it would be an advantage if you spoke either French or German ? however this is not essential.

The European Sales Manager will:

Drive sales across Europe, develop and maintain new and existing business for the company throughout Europe, visit customers daily ? OEM and Wholesalers, prepare various reports and follow ups, team management ? you will have 1 direct report, you will keep up to date on market / product knowledge and you will develop both sales and marketing strategies for the company and product portfolio.

Requirements for the role:

A sales background in OEM / Distribution and Wholesale is essential ? especially OEM, a proven track record in sales / business development and strategies, previous experience within a B2B environment is essential, you must understand both technical and mechanical issues / terms and must hold excellent communication and presentation skills with a real drive and passion to want to progress your sales career.
