Droopys Hope to be star of the show in Williamhill.com Oaks - 4th Quarter-final at Wimbledon
By virtue of an outstanding performance in the first round, Droopys Hope has stormed into the quarter-final stage of Williamhill.com Oaks at Wimbledon. The fourth quarter-final will see her facing five speedy hounds on Saturday.
E. McNair?s charge is in great form at the moment. After showing her magic at Sheffield, she reached here early in November. By running well in a couple of trials, she gained good momentum, which she utilised in the last two encounters.
On her latest journey, the black bitch demonstrated a fascinating show. She started her run from the sixth box, and stayed ahead all the way through. An excellent effort guided her to an easy 4?-length triumph.
The daughter of Ace Hi Rumble is in superb rhythm at the moment, and could easily dominate the proceedings here. The draw is not in her favour, but she is expected to build on her first-round success.
Other hounds in the pack are: Skate On, Ballintine Molly, Russelena Barbie, Jaytee Monroe, and Sherrys Rebound. The race will be run over 480 metres. It is scheduled to start at 21:10 GMT. The successful hound will get a prize of 150 pounds.
Russelena Barbie is facing strong opposition than the first round. So, it will be very hard for her to grab the first rank, although the draw is a plus. Skate On is a dangerous runner, but has no margin for error. The brindle bitch needs to stay on top of her game throughout, in order to challenge Droopys Hope.
Sherrys Rebound needs everything to fall right. The black bitch ran well on her promotion to this class last time, when finishing second to Skate On only by half a length. Ballintine Molly stays well, and loves this track. Yet, she could only be able to claim the third place behind Droopys Hope and Skate On.
Jaytee Monroe is a strong bitch, but this situation is likely to get the better of her. The brindle bitch, P. Young?s trainee, is facing a stern test, and only an upset would save her from defeat. Good luck to all the participants.
